Lisa: The Painful - Review (Part 3 of 4) On September the 15th, 2017, at 5:06 I finished Lisa: The Painful. This is the review segment in my 4 part look at the Lisa Series as a whole. THIS REVIEW CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR LISA: THE PAINFUL. Lisa: The Painful, takes place around 30 or so years after Lisa: The First and follows the protagonist Brad Armstrong , a minor character in Lisa: The First. the game is a turn-based rpg, although has minimal rpg elements. It costs  £ 6.99 on Steam, or  £12.99 for Lisa: The Painful, Lisa: The Joyful, OST, and Art Collection. The trailer can be found on Steam or here:  Lisa: The Painful Trailer . Lisa: The Painful - Review (Part 2 of 4) On September the 15th, 2017, at 5:06 I finished Lisa: The Painful, Before you can understand Lisa II, you need to understand Lisa: The First. THIS REVIEW CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR LISA:THE FIRST AND MINOR SPOILERS FOR LISA: THE PAINFUL I would like to start off this part with a trigger warning, Lisa: The First covers many extremely dark themes, with rape, abuse and suicide being the main ones, if these topics unsettle you then you may wish to not continue. Now the warnings out the way, let me explain what Lisa: The First is. What follows will be a 4 part look into Lisa: The Painful, and every piece of the puzzle which comes with, I aim to cover:   The previous Lisa game (Lisa: The First) and how its messages, stories and themes continue into Lisa: The Painful as well as the franchise as a whole. What is 'Joy' and what does it represent? Buddy, Brad and Lisa's relationship with each other, and how this reflects upon the world. And an actual review.
